THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM: YOUR HEALTH DEPENDS ON IT!

By Carolyn Monck

Mainstream medicine ignores the lymph system, but its vitality is crucial to your health. The Lymphatic System acts as the lifeline of the body and conducts a plethura of vital functions.

One function is to transport lymph or interstitual fluid through the body, collect waste products and cellular debris from the tissues, then destroy and eliminate these toxic substances.

The lymphatic system maintains protein and fluid balance, filters “bad fats” from the body and helps absorb and assimulate essential fats. It clears inter-cellular spaces of toxins, cancer cells, and pathogens. Organs involved include the spleen, thymus, tonsils, adenoids, and lymph nodes, and effects every cell in your body.

Symptoms of a poorly functioning lymphatic system include infection of the tonsils, sore throat, fevers, enlarged spleen, lymph edema, several types of cancer, lupus, and AIDS. Headaches, joint pain, fatigue, bloating, fluid retention, cellulitis, allergies, skin issues, cellulite, high blood pressure, arthritis, obesity, mood swings, and depression are also on the list of health challenges related to your lymphatic system.

Your lymphatic system can be compared to a freeway. When congested, nothing moves. The same thing can happen in your body. When your lymphatic system’s drainage becomes blocked, you cannot eliminate toxic material, it becomes sluggish and even stagnant. The clear lymph fluid becomes cloudy and thick, changing from a condition like water to milk to yogurt to cottage cheese. Thickened, gel-like stagnant lymph overloaded with toxic waste is the ideal envionment for the onset of numerous illnesses, including cancer.

When the collecting terminals become blocked, it is like a bottleneck; lymph starts backing up in the system creating a toxic oxygen-deprived environment conductive to degeneration and disorder. Toxic lymph can be stored for a long time in the system, but this is not a healthy condition. Moving stagnant lymph is key to rejuvenation. Once you clear up the lymph flow, you can enhance the body’s natural healing ability to clear up any illness.

There are many conditions that can contribute to sluggish circulation, and may be improved by lymphatic therapy. These include but are not limited to allergies, menstrual cramps, arthritis, prostate disorders, ulcers, breast lumps, parasites, eating disorders, cancer, respiratory infections, cellulite, emphysema, sinus headaches, intestinal blockages, muscle and tissue tension, structural misalignment in the neck and shoulders, and mental confusion and emotional disorders. Other factors include chronic constipation, stress, lack of movement and exercise, inflammation, poor eating habits and unexpressed emotions such as anger, fear, resentment, or grief.

Factors that hamper the cleaning process include artificial and restrictive clothing, (including tight jeans and bras) anti-perspirant deodorants, stress, dehydration, lack of exercise, hormone imbalances, accidents, illness, emotional issues, infections and even aging.

Preventative measures include New Sun’s Lymphatic Cleanser and the Detox and Drainage, Lymph. These help maintain fluid balance and support and strengthen the immune system. New Sun has many products that cleanse the body, such as Absolute Cleanse. Once you have moved out the stagnant lymph it is time to rebuild and regenerate your tissue and cellular health. New Sun has many products that will accomplish this.

Other things you can do include exercise, proper hydration, dry skin brushing, walking or jumping on a rebounder, using a sauna, deep breathing, eating a healthy diet, EFT, resonance repatterning, lymphatic massage and lymphatic de-congestive therapy.

Take care of your lymphatic system now and take your name off the cancer list, protect yourself from many other ailments, diseases, and health challenges.
